Time controls	Game in 60 minutes plus 10 seconds per move (Fischer)
Entry fees	$60 seniors $50 pensioners, fulltime students (ID required) $40 juniors Early bird discount $10 discount for entries received before 26 February
Special conditions	$10 Chess Association of Queensland membership fee payable by non-members (check list of financial members here)
Late entries	Late entries will be accepted on the day. However we can only process so many late entries in a given time and these will be taken in the order they arrive at the registration desk. Processing these will cease 20 minutes prior to the scheduled start of the first round, to allow the draw to be generated so that the first round commences on time. Further late entries will be accepted but will be given a half-point bye for the first round. Players who have registered early but are paying on the day will still be regarded as late entrants, but will be given preferential treatment over those arriving unannounced.
